Maynard Fahs, Jr.
Chief Executive Officer and Founder

As the Chief Executive Officer and founding partner, Maynard drives key strategic initiatives for corporate growth and development. Maynard is also the CEO of Hearth Management’s sister company, Fahs Construction.

Mark Burritt
Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer, Mark drives the company’s overall financial development and strategy. He has been involved in the start-up and strategy of several businesses over the past thirty years and is an active member of Argentum.

Kevin Hunter
Chief Operating Officer

Kevin brings decades of experience to the company and has a proven record of taking Senior Living, and Healthcare Companies to the next level. Previously, Kevin was the head of operations for Greenfield Senior Living, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Compass Pointe Healthcare (currently Milestone), Vice President of Operations at Atria Senior Living Group, and Chief Operating Officer at Forest City/Sterling Glen Community’s.  

Jonathan P. Barbieri
Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

As the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jonathan oversees the company’s sales and marketing initiatives by creating, executing and monitoring the occupancy growth and stability of our communities. Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in healthcare and business development. He holds a master's certification in healthcare leadership from Cornell University, a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina and is a registered nurse and administrator in Pennsylvania. 

Janet Haynes, RN
Vice President of Clinical Services

As the Vice President of Clinical Services, Janet oversees the organization’s professional development of the nursing team and clinical systems to optimize the quality of care delivered to our residents. She was critical is establishing Hearth Management as a leader in nursing care in the Senior Living and Memory Care industry.

Kara Khanzadian
Regional Vice President of Operations - Northeast

As the Regional Vice President of Operations – Northeast, Kara oversees all operational aspects of the New York and Connecticut region’s business objectives. Kara also plays a critical role in the development and implementation of company programs and initiatives.  She is a licensed Residential Care Administrator in Indiana. Kara is also an active member of Argentum, the Empire State Association of Assisted Living (ESAAL), and the Connecticut Assisted Living Association (CALA).

Christy LeClair
Vice President of Human Resources

As the Vice President of Human Resources, Christy partners with the company’s leadership to drive and support Human Resources practices and provides strategic leadership to Hearth Executives in areas of benefits, administration, compensation, employee relations, training and development, and recruitment. Christy collaborates to develop and execute strategies to motivate and engage the workforce to achieve the company’s objectives. Christy is recognized as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) which demonstrates mastery of the technical and operational aspect of HR practice and U.S. laws and regulations. Christy is also recognized as a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) which is a competency and knowledge based certification. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the CNY SHRM Chapter where she served as a board member and the chairperson of the Events Committee.

Kelly Parker
Human Resources Benefits Specialist

As the Human Resources Benefits Specialist for Hearth Management, Kelly serves as the subject matter expert for FMLA, ADA, NYS PFL, as well as ACA and all aspects of benefits management.  Additionally, Kelly spearheads Hearth’s safety programming, worker’s compensation and required OSHA reporting.  Kelly partners with Hearth Communities to ensure they have the support and tools necessary to provide seniors with a premier living experience.  A native of the New York Finger Lakes, Kelly is a graduate of SUNY Oswego and has a seasoned HR background working for companies such as International Paper, Felix Schoeller, Intersurgical and CXtec. 

Kelly Gourd
Human Resource Assistant / Payroll Specialist

At Hearth Management, Kelly fills two distinct roles. As the Human Resource Assistant, she prepares benefit eligibility reports and processes Excellus, Guardian, and HSA enrollment for the entire company. Additionally, she processes all 401k changes, employment verifications, and Support/Medical Withholding Orders. In her role as Payroll Specialist, Kelly prepares and processes payroll for the company. Kelly’s additional duties include entering new hires, termination, and employee status changes. She is a graduate of Aurora University.

April Jones
Accounting Supervisor

As the Accounting Supervisor, April handles the accounts payable and resident billing for Hearth communities. April keeps resident statuses up to date for accurate billing and also handles processing resident payments. April graduated from the Utica School of Commerce with an AOS degree in Accounting.

Kim Osinski
Accounting Coordinator

As an Accounting Coordinator, Kim handles the accounts payable and receivable for Hearth communities. She plays an important part in keeping our communities running by making sure our bills are paid. Kim also handles billing and keeping accounts up to date and accurate.  Kim graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Apparel studies.

Nicole Witt
Staff Accountant

As the Staff Accountant, Nicole is responsible for monthly financial closings for the Hearth communities. She works daily with the communities to ensure success in the payment of invoices and the billing of residents. Nicole graduated from LeMoyne College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Tim Hatch
Systems Help Desk Coordinator

As the Systems Help Desk Coordinator, Tim manages the help desk and helps resolve any technical issues for Hearth Management's home office and communities. Tim graduated from Onondaga Community College with an A.A.S. degree in Computer Information Systems and Programming.

Adam Wisely
Operations Coordinator

As Operations Coordinator, Adam assists in all operational aspects of our business and directly supports our Regional Vice President of Operations-Northeast. Adam also plays an important part in compiling company-wide reports and takes on various marketing and community roles when needed. Adam is a graduate of Niagara University and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
